Coatee Tractor Spray Paint Touch-Up Kit

Price range: ₹1,309.00 through ₹1,449.00

The complete Coatee tractor touch-up kit: a colour-matched 300g spray can plus the sandpaper, professional-grade thinner and microfibre cloth needed to prepare the panel properly. Available for ten tractor makes. Everything for a repair that lasts, in one box.

Description

Most touch-ups fail before the paint goes on

Spraying is the easy part. Almost every home repair that lifts, peels or looks patchy failed earlier than that, at the preparation stage. Paint sprayed over diesel film will not bond. Paint sprayed over rust seals the rust in and lifts within weeks, taking the good paint around it. Paint sprayed onto a rough edge shows the ridge through the finish.

The single can gives you the colour. The kit gives you the three steps that come before it. That is the whole difference, and it is why a kit repair still looks right a year later.

What is in the box

  • A colour-matched 300g Coatee spray can. Mixed to your tractor’s original factory shade, covering 18 to 20 square feet in a single application.
  • Sandpaper. For taking rust and rough edges back to sound metal. This is the step most people skip and the reason most repairs fail.
  • Professional-grade thinner. For degreasing the panel before you spray, and for cleaning overspray off surrounding paint or off your hands afterwards.
  • A microfibre cloth. For the final wipe. An ordinary rag leaves lint in wet paint, which you then have to sand out.

Kit or single can?

Straight answer, because it saves everyone time.

Buy the single can if you already keep sandpaper and a degreaser in the shed, the damage is a light surface scratch with no rust, and you only need colour.

Buy the kit if there is any rust or bare metal showing, if you have several areas to do, if the panel is one people actually look at, or if this is your first time spraying. The prep materials are matched to the paint, which removes the guesswork about whether a solvent you have on the shelf will react with the finish.

Over a season, most people who start with a can end up buying the kit anyway. The repair that gets done properly the first time is the cheaper one.

Using the kit, step by step

  1. Wash the area and let it dry. Plain water and soap, to shift mud and loose dirt.
  2. Sand back the damage. Use the sandpaper on rust and rough edges until you reach clean, sound metal, then feather the edge of the surrounding paint so there is no hard step for the new coat to show up.
  3. Degrease with the thinner. Wipe the area with thinner on the microfibre cloth to lift oil and diesel film. Let it flash off completely before you spray.
  4. Mask around the repair. Newspaper and tape. Overspray travels further than most people expect, especially outdoors.
  5. Shake the can well, then spray light passes. Six to eight inches from the panel, can moving steadily, two or three thin coats with a few minutes between each. Thin coats beat one heavy coat every time. Heavy coats run.
  6. Clean up while the paint cures. The thinner takes overspray off surrounding paintwork if you get to it promptly.

Tractor makes covered

The kit is available colour-matched for CNH and New Holland, Eicher, Escorts, JCB, John Deere, Kubota, Mahindra, Preet, Sonalika and Swaraj. Choose your make and shade above. Every current shade with prices is listed on the Coatee tractor paint shade card, and we add new shades regularly as manufacturers change their finishes. If your make is not shown, contact us and we will quote for a custom match.

Why the price varies

The accessories are the same in every kit. The price follows the shade, because some colours cost more to mix than others. A John Deere green kit costs more than a Sonalika grey kit for exactly the same reason the single cans differ in price. Nothing is added or removed from the box.

Common questions

Does the kit include primer?
No. The kit contains the colour-matched spray can, sandpaper, professional-grade thinner and a microfibre cloth. On a properly sanded and degreased panel, the Coatee topcoat bonds directly.

How much can I repair with one kit?
The can covers 18 to 20 square feet in a single application, which handles a set of scratches, a chipped fender edge or a faded bonnet section. For a full panel respray, add a second can of the same shade.

Will it match my model?
Yes. Each make’s shades cover its full model range.

Do I need any experience?
No. The kit is designed for people who have never sprayed before. If the panel is large or highly visible, practise a pass or two on scrap metal first to get a feel for the nozzle.

Can I use the thinner on my hands?
It will remove overspray, but wash with soap and water afterwards and work in open air. Treat it as a solvent, not a hand cleaner.

I only need the colour.
Then buy the single can for your make. Every shade is listed on the shade card.
