Description

The rest of the tractor range, in one place

Agri Shades is the Coatee range for the makes that do not yet have a page of their own: Escorts, Kubota, Preet and TAFE Massey Ferguson. Eleven shades across four manufacturers, each mixed to the original factory finish and covering the full model range of its make.

Pick your tractor brand above, then the shade for the panel you are repairing. If you run a Mahindra, Swaraj, John Deere, Sonalika, Eicher, CNH or New Holland, those makes have dedicated pages linked at the bottom of this one.

Shades by make

  • Escorts: EL Delph. Blue, EL Air Blue, EL ES Grey, EL PT Blue.
  • Kubota: KU Orange, KU Grey.
  • Preet: PT D. Grey, PT L Grey.
  • TAFE Massey Ferguson: TAF Massy Red, TAF Charcoal Grey, TAF Misty Silver.

We add new shades regularly as manufacturers change their finishes, and new makes are separated into their own pages as the range grows. Every current shade with prices is listed on the Coatee tractor paint shade card.

What the can gives you

  • 18 to 20 square feet of coverage from one 300g can in a single application.
  • Quick-drying acrylic so the machine is back in the field the same day.
  • A sealed barrier over bare metal against rain, mud and fertiliser. This is the part that protects your investment rather than just tidying it up.
  • Colour that holds through long hours of sun and heavy work.
  • No brushes, no tins, no thinning. Shake and spray.

Choosing the right shade

Match against the panel you are repairing rather than against the machine as a whole. Most tractors use two or three shades across bodywork, castings and trim, and the colour you remember is often not the colour of the specific panel in front of you. Screens do not reproduce paint accurately, so for a critical match ask your dealer for the printed shade card or download it from our downloads page.

How to touch up a panel

  1. Clean and degrease. Wash off mud, oil and diesel film and let the panel dry completely. Paint will not bond to a dirty surface.
  2. Deal with rust first. Take rough or rusted areas back with fine sandpaper until you reach sound metal. Paint sprayed over rust lifts within weeks.
  3. Mask around the repair. Newspaper and tape are enough. Overspray carries further than most people expect, particularly on a windy day.
  4. Shake the can, then spray light passes. Hold it six to eight inches from the panel and keep it moving. Two or three thin coats always look better than one heavy coat, which is what causes runs.
  5. Allow drying time between coats. A few minutes each. Rushing this is the single most common reason a home touch-up looks patchy.

Common questions

Will this fit my model?
Yes. Each make’s shades cover its full model range.

My tractor brand is not listed here.
Mahindra, Swaraj, John Deere, Sonalika, Eicher, CNH and New Holland have their own pages. If your make appears on neither, contact us. We add shades regularly and can quote for custom colour matching.

How many cans will I need?
One 300g can covers 18 to 20 square feet in a single application, enough for a set of scratches or a chipped fender edge. Order two for a bonnet or a full panel.

Will it stop rust?
Yes, provided you remove existing rust first. The paint film seals bare metal against moisture. Sprayed straight over rust, it will fail.

Do I need experience?
No. The aerosol is made for people who have never sprayed before. For a large or highly visible panel, practise your technique on scrap metal first.

Should I buy the kit instead?
For more than a couple of scratches, the Coatee Spray Paint Kit bundles colour-matched paint with sandpaper, professional-grade thinner and a microfibre cloth for less than buying the pieces separately.
